MEET AURA

Aura Star Heights has gathered a wealth of experience within the equestrian world and was given the privilege to learn and be instructed by renowned horsemen such as Bernie Traurig, Tom Brennan, and George Morris. Aura also was a long term student for Long Island, NY Sportsmanship award winner, Chuck Rocco! Aura pursued further knowledge outside of riding, by attending and graduating from Emory & Henry College, the top equestrian school in the U.S, with two bachelor degree’s in Equine Science and English.​

 

Aura grew up without financial privileges , riding and training the horses others often passed over—experiences that shaped her deep belief in second chances and the power of patient and gentle training.

Aura was the head trainer and rider for one of the biggest riding academies in Long Island, NY where she trained everything from the tiniest ponies to upper-level warmbloods and guided riders from their first short stirrup classes all the way to the big eq.

She specializes in developing hunter/jumpers with emphasis on developing a proper foundation. Every horse in her program receives tailored attention, with training grounded in gentle methods and classical European techniques that prioritize both physical development and mental well-being.

Seeking a warmer climate and year-round opportunities, She relocated ASE to Ocala, Florida, where she continue’s to help horses and riders unlock their full potential with skill, patience, and heart.
